PEEL OFF LABELS ON THE CANS,PLACE IN LARGE STOCK POT FILLED WITH WATER AND BOIL 4 HOURS MAKING SURE THAT THE WATER NEVER GET TO LOW AS TO EXPOSE THE TOP OF THE LIDS.TAKE THE CRUSHED VANILLA WAFERS,MELTED BUTTER AND MIX PLACE INTO 9 INCH PIE PAN PAT DOWN CRUST ON THE BOTTOM AND ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP OF PIE TIN,PLACE IN FRIDGE.WHEN IT BECOMES CLOSE TO THE 4 HOUR MARK CUT UP APPLES (I FIND THE CUISINART WORKS REAL WELL)THIN SLICES PLACE ON TOP OF CRUST.OK HERE IS WHEN YOU WILL NEED HELP OR YOU CAN BALANCE THE CLEAR CASSEROLE LID YOURSELF,TAKE OUT 1 CAN AT A TIME PLACE CASSEROLE LID OVER CAN AND USING YOUR HAND CAN OPENER SLOWLY, OPEN THE FIRST CAN,QUICKLY SPREAD THE TAFFY OVER THE PIE AND REPEAT WITH SECOND CAN,SPRINKLE CRUSHED PEANUTS OVER THE TOP AND PLACE IN FRIDGE TILL READY TO SERVE.
