Directions:
Saw off hock end and about 3/4" of butt end; use this for seasoning vegetables. Wash and then soak ham overnight in clear water. Wrap ham completely in heavy aluminum foil, in a manner to retain juices, and pour approximately 1 1/2 cups of water ( ginger ale, apple cider, pineapple juice or Coca Cola may be substituted for water ) inside aluminum wrap. Bake at 325º for approximately 20 minutes per pound. When done remove foil from top side of ham (skin side up) and remove skin while warm. Dot with cloves, sprinkle with brown sugar, cover with pineapple and return to oven for browning,. Baste twoce during this time. Allow to cool thoroughly and slice very thin. Start slicing (fat side up) at shank end , using slanted stokes.

Personal Notes:
I use Coca Cola and ocassionally I may put pineapple, but most of the time I don't put anything on it.
