Ingredients:
1 (21 oz) package brownie mix, batter prepared according to package directions
1/4 cup coffee flavored liquor (Kailua)
2 (2.8 oz) packages instant chocolate mousse, prepared according to directions
8 Skor or Heathe candy bars, coarsely crushed
1 (12 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven and bake the brownie batter in a 9x13 inch baking pan according to the directions, let cool. Use a fork to prick holes in the top of the cooled brownies; drizzle with coffee liqueur. Let stand. Break up the brownies into small pieces and place half in the bottom of a trifle dish or large glass serving bowl, cover with half the pudding/mousse, then half the crushed candy, then half the whipped topping. Repeat the layers and top with the thawed topping. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I always used 4 packages of mousse (you can also use pudding. Shannon only used the 2 as directed at Christmas and we thought it a bit dry. I would advise using more mousse/pudding. This is best prepared the day before, the longer it stands the better it gets. This always used to be a Christmas tradition until Doug got tired of it. Break the candy bars into small pieces in a food processor or by gently tapping the wrapped candy bar.
