Ingredients:  
yellow cake baked from cake mix, with butter in 9x13 pan.

For frosting
1 pkg instant vanilla pie fill or pudding
1 c cold milk
8 oz cream cheese cut into cubes
8 oz tub softened cook whip
1/2 to 1 c drained crushed pineapple
1/2 c cocoanut
1/2 c chopped pecans
1/2 c sliced cherries

Directions:

Bake butter cake and let cool while making frosting.

Frosting:
mix vanilla pudding and milk. Add cream cheese, then cool whip. S;pread on cake. Sprinkle pineapple over frosting. Toast cocoanut in 350 oven for 5-6 minutes (stirring several times). Srpinkle cocoanut over pineapple. then sprinkle 1/2 c chopped pecans and 1/2 c sliced cherries over all.
