2 c flour
2 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
2 c nuts
1 pkg (6 1/4 oz) dates finely cut
1 c candied cherries cut
1 pkg (6 oz) chocolate chips
3 eggs
1 c sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Grease loaf pan 9x5x3. Line with heavy brown paper. Sift dry ingredients stir in chocolate and fruits. Beat eggs until thick and light and add sugar until smooth and fluffy - make hole in center of flour and add egg mixture and fold and stir. Bake 325 oven for 1 1/2 hours. Cool 5 minutes on rack before turning out of pan.
