2 qts. popped corn
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tsps. butter
1 cup maple syrup
1/4 sugar
1 cup walnuts chopped or (pecans)

Directions:
Directions:
Salt popped corn in a large bowl or crock, mix walnuts or pecans. In a heavy-bottom saucepan, cook butter, syrup and sugar to 275 F. on a candy thermometer. (stir constantly) Pour over popcorn with mixed walnuts or Pecans, in thin streams. Dip hands in cold water, dry. and shape into balls.
