1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. all purpose flour
1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 4 oz. can chopped green chilies
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 c. whipping cream
1/4 t. salt
black pepper to taste

Directions:

In medium mixing bowl, combine butter and cream cheese; blend until smooth. Stir in flour. Shape dough into a ball and wrap in waxed paper. Chill 2 to 3 hours.

Preheat oven to 350. Divide dough into 24 balls and press into lightly greased miniature muffin cups to form shells. Sprinkle cheese and chilies into bottom of pastry shells. Combine eggs, cream, salt, and pepper. Pour into pastry shells. Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
