2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 cups regular flour (mix in 1 tsp. soda)
1/2 cup Crisco or Oleo
2 sq. chocolate (melt)

Add 1 cup boiling water OR 1 cup hot coffee

Directions:

Mix sugar and Crisco, add eggs, mix, add flour and buttermilk alternatly; then melted chocolate. Add liquid. Pour in to 9" x 12' pan and bake 30 minutes at 350.
