3 lbs. hamburger meat
2 C chopped onions
4 cloves garlic chopped fine (1 tbsp. jar garlic)
2 Tbsp. olive oil (add and simmer)
1 - 4 oz. can green chili peppers
2 - 29 oz. can tomato sauce (festival foods best)
1 - 14 oz. can beef broth (Swanson better)
2 Tbsp. chili powder, 1 tsp. black pepper
3 tsp. salt, 4 tsp. cumin powder
3 tsp. oregano, 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. brown sugar

Sauté hamburger and drain.
Combine all other ingredients, simmer.
Add the simmered sauce mixture with hamburger and cook for 15 minutes, taste for adjustments.
Serve with sour cream and shredded Colby cheese.
