1/2 package frozen puff pastry (1sheet)
1 egg
1 tablespoon water
1/2 cup raspberry preserves
1/3 cup toasted, sliced almonds
1 Brie cheese round, about 1 lb.

Directions:
Thaw pastry sheet at room temperature for 30 mins. Preheat oven to 400º. Mix egg and water, set aside. Unfold thawed pastry sheet onto lightly floured surface. Roll into 14" square. Cut off corners to make a circle. Spread raspberry preserves to within an inch of pastry edge. sprinkle almonds over preserves. Top with cheese. Brush edges with egg mixture. Fold two opposite sides over cheese. Trim remaining two sides to 2" From edge of cheese. Fold these two sides onto the round and press edges to seal. Place seam side down on baking sheet. Brush with egg mixture. Bake for 20 mins. or until golden brown. Let stand for 45 mins. Serve with crackers.
