oil or lard for frying

Directions:
Directions:
do not wash ham slices
Put about 2 Tbsp oil or lard in frying pan, and heat over med-high heat. Place ham in pan, fry slow til done, do not over cook. After removing all ham from pan, pour grease into bowl, put pan back on burner, get hot but not too hot, add 1 cup cold water to pan, deglase pan and allow to boil for a few minutes. Pour into bowl of grease, you now have red-eye gravy.
