1 box brown sugar (light or dark I use light)
1 stick butter or margarine
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 c self-rising flour
12 oz pkg chocolate chips
1 c nuts chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Melt brown sugar and butter over med low heat, do not boil. Cool slightly, add eggs one at at time beating well after each one, add vanilla. Mix in flour, folkd in chocolate chips, and nuts, pour into 9 X 13 pan that has been sprayed with Pam. Bake in pre-heated oven at 375º for 30 minutes. This will rise up like a cake and then fall (hence the name chew cake)
