1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
6 eggs, well beaten
1 c. chopped almonds with skins
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. yogurt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 oz. Cognac
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cloves
*Syrup*
3 c. sugar
2 c. water.

Directions:
Melt butter and allow to cool slightly. Beat butter and add sugar gradually, mix well. Add eggs, continue beating. Add almonds, yogurt, soda, cognac, flour, cinnamon, and cloves. Beat all ingredients well. Pour into 9x13in. pan which has been greased with butter. Bake at 350º for one hour. "Have double shot of Glenlevit on the rocks". When cake cools top with syrup: Bring sugar and water to a boil until forms syrup. Pour over cake while warm.
