1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. finely chopped red and/or green candied cherries
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
1 pkg. coconut flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Blend in milk and vanilla. Stir in flour, candied cherries and nuts.

Form dough into two 8-inch rolls and roll in flaked coconut. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill or freeze.

Cut into 1/4 inch slices. Bake at 350º until edges are golden. Do not overcook.
