Seafood Gumbo Recipe

6 cans chicken broth or fish stock
8 ox frozen cut okra
5 oz cooked shrimp
1 c cooked white fish
1 c crab meat
1 dozen oysters or 1 can minced clams
1/2 c dark roux
1/2 t garlic powder
1/4 t oregano
1/4 t red pepper
1/2 t beau monde or celery salt
1 small bay leaf
3/4 t seasoned salt
1/4 t salt

Bring broth to a rolling boil and add the okra and seasonings. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 5 minutes. Add the juice from the oysters or clams. Add the roux 1 T at a time and cook til the okra is done. Add the seafood and heat through. Do not boil. Serve over rice.
