1 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 c. milk
1 large banana, cubed
1 c. grated apples
1 c. seedless raisins
1/2 c. shredded coconut
1/2 chopped nuts

Frosting:

1 c. powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla or maple flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and shortening, then cream in egg. Combine dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture alternately with milk. Mix until moistened then add fruit and nuts while stirring. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 glass baking dish. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Combine frosing ingredients and place icing over warm cake.
