1 1/2 pounds ground chuck
onion, chopped (as much or little as you like)
Fresh or minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon basil
1 can tomato paste

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion and garlic in a small amount of margarine. Add chuck and basil. Cook until meat is no longer pink. Drain. Add tomato paste and about 3 cans of water. Simmer. Add garlic salt to taste. Serve with spaghetti or rice.

As you can tell by this recipe, it's something I made up. Alan said I was a better cook then his Mother, except for her spaghetti sauce, so it was a challenge to make mine at least as good or better. It worked, this is something my whole family loves and asks for!
