1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
6 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
1 pre-made pie crust (9-inch)
whip cream for garnish

-Preheat oven to 325

-In a medium bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, and salt until well combined

-In a large bowl, combine eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla

-Add sugar mixture and mix well with electric mixer or whisk vigorously

-Melt chocolate chips and using a rubber spatula stir the chocolate into the batter

-Pour into pie crust and bake in middle of the oven for 1 hour and 15+ minutes

-Pie will become crisp and crack on top

-When knife is inserted it will come out with a bit of moist chocolate on it

-Cool completely, can be served warm or chilled

-Top with whipped cream
