1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1 c. chopped pecans
1/3 c. plus 1/2 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. melted butter
60 caramels
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake mix, pecans, 1/3 c. evaporated milk and melted
butter. Press half of mixture into bottom of greased 9x13
GLASS dish. Bake 350º for 8 minutes.

Meanwhile, in double boiler, melt caramels w/ remaining
1/2 c. milk. When well mixed, pour over baked layer. Cover
with morsels. Pour rest of batter on top of morsels.

Return to 350º oven for 18 minutes. Make a day ahead, if
desired.
