Heat 1 cup milk and 1 cup water. Add 1/2 heaped cup Crisco shortening
and 1/2 cup sugar. Let cool and add 2 packages of dry yeast
that has been soaked in 1/2 cup good warm water with 1
teaspoon sugar. Add 2 eggs beaten and 1 tablespoon salt.
Add about 2 cups of flour at a time and beat hard until you
have added about 6 cups or so. Then put on floured board
and mix well. Put in greased pan until doubled. Mix down and
let rise again. Make rolls in any desired shape and put on
greased pan and let rise. Bake and Ice.
