8 or 9 qts popped corn. 1/2 tsp. soda. 2 cups brown sugar, 1 c. margarine, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. Karo syrup, 1 tsp. vanilla.

Directions:
Preheat oven to 250 F. Pop the popping corn. Heat the other ingredients (all except soda) to boiling and boil them for 5 min., mixing them well and stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Add soda, stirring in quickly. Pour over popped corn - mixing well. Put in 250 degree oven for one hour, stirring every 20 min.
Store in tightly covered container.
