Calico Baked Beans Recipe

1/2 lb diced bacon
1/2 lb lean ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1-16 oz can kidney beans
1-16 oz can lima beans
1-28 oz can pork & beans in tomato sauce
2 Tbsp sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
2 Tbsp mustard
2 Tbsp molasses
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Saute bacon until crisp. Add ground beef and onion and cook until meat loses it's red color. Drain off fat. Mix together seasonings and add to meat mixture along with undrained beans. Place in large casserole or Dutch oven. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour. Uncover the last 15 minutes of baking, if too juicy.
