3 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 egg, separated
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
2 1/3 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, 2 eggs plus 1 egg yolk, lemon juice
until fluffy. Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed
mixture. Stir in nuts. Roll out dough and cut into 1" stars.
Brush tops with egg white beaten until fluffy. Bake on slightly
greased cookie sheets at 375º for 6-8 minutes.
