1 - 8 oz. package UNCOOKED lasagna noodles
1/2 lb. ground beef (or 1 lb. of hamburger and no Italian sausage)
1/2 lb. Italian sweet sausage
1/4 c. water
1 chopped onion
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 large stalk celery, chopped
1/8 - 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 - 32 oz. jar of spaghetti sauce (Ragu or Prego)
4 slices cooked, crumbled bacon (optional)
dash of allspice and black pepper
1 can mushrooms

Cheese sauce:
1 egg
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1 - 15 oz. container of ricotta cheese
2 - 3 c. grated mozzarella cheese
1/4 c. fresh chopped parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Microwave the ground beef and sausage until cooked (5 - 6 minutes on high). Drain off any fat and crumble the cooked meat. To the meat add the water, onion, green pepper, celery, garlic powder, spaghetti sauce, bacon, mushrooms, allspice, and pepper. Microwave on full power in a covered dish for 8 minutes. Stir occasionally. In a separate bowl, combine all the cheese sauce ingredients.

In a 9 x 13" microwave dish, later 1/3 of the tomato-meat sauce, 1/2 of the UNCOOKED lasagna noodles, 1/2 of the cheese sauce. Repeat layering steps. Top the last layer with the remaining 1/3 tomato-meat sauce.

Sprinkle the top of the lasagna with extra Parmesan cheese. Cover with saran wrap and microwave on full power for 30 - 35 minutes. let stand 15 minutes before serving.

To make this oven lasagna: Leave out the 1/4 c. water, cook the lasagna noodles first, simmer the meat sauce for 20 minutes over low heat. Bake for 35 minutes in 350º oven.
