9 c. flour, siftted
1 T. salt
4 T. bacon grease
3 c. hot water
1/2 c. water with 2 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Put sugar, grease and salt in large bowl. Add water. Mix well. Let cool till warm. Add flour and mix well. Add yeast mixture and stir. Gradually add remaining 6 cups flour. Stir well. Turn out onto floured surface. Knead well, at least 5 minutes.

Place dough in large buttered bowl. Turning so dough is greased on all sides. Cover with buttered waxed paper and then with a warm wet towel. Place a dry warm place (oven with light on). Let rise till doubled in size. Punch down. Let rise till doubled in size. Punch down. Let rise again and punch down. Form rolls. Brush with butter and let rise till doubled in size. Bake at 400º till light golden brown.
