4 tsp simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water, heated until sugar is fully diluted)
8 sprigs fresh mint
1 lime, quarted
1 cup light rum
ice
club soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1 tsp syrup and 2 mint sprigs in each of 4 tall glasses (highball glasses for old folks). Use the back of a spoon to mash the mint leaves. Squeeze 1 lime quarter into each glass then add 1/4 cup rum. Add ice and top with club soda.
