1 cup Crisco
1 cup sugar
½ tsp salt
1 cup boiling water
2 cakes yeast
2 eggs beaten
1 cup cold water
6 cups of flour
Directions:
Directions:

Pour boiling water over shortening, sugar and salt-stir add eggs-stir
Let yeast stand in cold water for 5 minutes then stir
Add to mixture-stir
Add flour and blend
Place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours
Kneed desired amount of dough then cut in circles, dip or brush them with butter
Fold in half and place on greased cookie sheet
Bake at 425 for 12 to 15 minutes
