"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Pour the following into a doulbe kitchen bag.

1 box Cheerios,
1 bag pretzels,
2 boxes wheat chex,
2 boxes rice chex,
2 boxes corn chex,
5 cans mixed nuts
I usually put half of the boxes in and pour half of the butter mixture and use one of the nut cans to stir. Then put the other half of each in and stir.

Bake at 250 for 45 minutes stirring every 15 minutes and or microwave 3 @ for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes stirring each time. Lay on paper towels to cool then bag.

Personal Notes:
This recipe makes plenty for home and gifts at Christmas. You can also divide this recipe in half for a smaller batch. This year I am going to add some sun chips to it so you can also experiment,
