2/3 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
2/3 cup water
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cloves
2/3 cup raisins
2 2/3 cup sugar
1-1lb can pumpkin
3 1/3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2/3 cup coarsely chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)

Preheat oven to 350º. Grease two 9x5x3 inch loaf pans. In a large bowl, mix oil and sugar. Stir in eggs, pumpkin and water, Blend flour, soda, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and cloves. Stir in nuts and raisins. Pour into pans. Bake about 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

This is delicious. I found this in a cookbook my sister, Brooke and her dance class made to raise money for dance competition. I love everything pumpkin and can't wait for fall so I can start cooking with it. This is the best recipe for pumpkin bread I've tried so far.
