"The tradition of Italian cooking is that of the matriarch. This is the cooking of grandma. She didn't waste time thinking too much about the celery. She got the best celery she could and then she dealt with it."--Mario Batali

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Spray bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray. Mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over low heat, stirring well; set aside. Cut the cream cheese into 20 equal cubes. Press the biscuits out with your fingers and place cube in center. Fold biscuit around the cream cheese and seal edges. Roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of nuts on the bottom of the pan. Add 10 biscuits. Sprinkle with more cinnamon/sugar and pour 1/2 of the butter/brown sugar mixture on top. Sprinkle on 1/2 cup nuts, add rest of biscuits, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and the rest of the butter/brown sugar mixture. Top with the remaining nuts. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and cool 5 minutes. Place a plate on top of bundt pan and invert so the bread falls out of the pan upside down on the plate.

My Beehive girls love this recipe. They beg me to make it every chance they get. I got this recipe from my sister, Brooke--who sold it to me in a cookbook her dance company made to raise money for competition.
