1 meringue shell. 4 eggyolks (reserved from meringue prep). 1/2 c sugar. 4 T lemon juice. 2 T lemon zest. 1 c whipping cream.

Directions:
Beat eggyolks till thick. Add gradually sugar. Blend in lemon juice and rind. Cook over hot water stirring constantly till thick (5-8 min). Cool.
Whip 1 c. whipping cream and spread 1/2 over meringue shell. Add cooled custard and top with remaining whipped cream. Chill 2-4 hours.
