2-15oz red kidney beans, drained
2-14oz diced or crushed tomatoes (use fresh when in season)
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 package chili seasoning mix (or 1 tsp minced garlic, 2 tbsp chili powder, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, 1 tsp red pepper, 1 tsp cumin)

Brown ground beef. Drain. Add all ingredients in large soup pot. Heat to boiling and simmer 1 hour. You can also cook in crock pot on low.
