1 cup sifted whole wheat flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 cups milk
1/4 cup oil

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients three times. Add egg yolks and milk gradually, beating with electric mixer on low speed. Add oil. Batter will be very thin. Beat egg whites very hard for 2 minutes and fold in to batter. Bake in preheated waffle iron sprayed with Pam. You may add 1/2 tsp soda and substitute buttermilk for regular milk to make a richer waffle.
