Large deep bowl with a cover
Head of lettuce, torn
Bunch of green onion, chopped
Package of petite frozen peas
1 green pepper chopped
1 c celery chopped
1/2 lb or so of cooked diced bacon
3/4/5 hard cooked eggs diced
Approximately 1 c mayo spread over top
Grated cheese to taste

Layer all above ingredients in order in a bowl. Cover bowl and refrigerate for 24 hours. (Chilled and sealed will keep 3 days.) Toss just before serving. May add any of the following before serving: shrimp, sliced mushrooms, raw broccoli, avocado, cauliflower, seeds, croutons, tomatoes.
