Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Granola:
1/2 C honey
1/2 C water
1/2 C oil
1 tsp. salt
8 C oats
2/3 C brown sugar
nuts, coconut, dried fruit, etc.

Bars:
1/4 C butter
12 oz. marshmallows
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 C peanut butter (optional)
chocolate chips, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Combine granola ingredients, except oats. Mix thoroughly and pour over oats. Stir to coat. Spread on 2 cookie sheets evenly. Bake at 250º for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add desired additions while still warm. Cool and store with a tight lid.

For bars: Melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and vanilla. Remove from heat and stir in PB, if desired. Stir in 4 C granola to coat. Pour onto waxed paper placed in cookie sheet with sides and pat down with wet fingers or greased rolling pin. Sprinkle on chocolate chips/M&Ms at this stage as it's cooling - gently pressing them in to keep flatness.
Let cool and set, then cut them into desired sized bars. After separating, let dry 2 hours. Store in tightly sealed container. So much better than store bought!
