1 large can of Sauerkraut, drained
1 Cup Chopped celery
1 Cup Chopped peppers (red or green)
1 Cup Chopped Onions
1 Tbls. Celery Seed
1 1/4 Cups Sugar
1/2 Cup Salad Oil
1/2 Cup Vinegar
1 Can Pineapple Bits, drained

Directions:
Directions:
In large saucepan, cover Kraut with water cook for 20 min. I use the good home made kind.
Drain. Pour into large bowl and add peppers,celery, onions and celery seed. Mix well. In another sauce pan, heat sugar,salad oil and vinegar. Pour over Kraut mixture and add pineapple. Mix well cover and chill for 2 Hrs.

I found this recipe in a Grit magazine and thought with all the sauerkraut made every year by all our good cooks, that this would be a good recipe to include. Very Good.
