Crust:
1 cup lard
3-1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
water

Filling:
sirloin
carrots
potatoes
onion
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Crust is like pie dough only a little softer.

Filling: in a big bowl put small cubes (less than 1/4") of meat, carrots, potatoes, onion, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.

To assemble: roll out crust to make about a 10" circle, pile filling to cover half of the circle. Fold crust over and seal edges. Bake at 450º for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350º for about 50 minutes. If you are planning on freezing a portion, bake the first 20 minutes, then freeze. Bake for about 1 hour until done.
