1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup flour
2 tablespoons water
1 cup water

1 teaspoon almond flavoring
1 cup flour
4 eggs

Frosting:
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 to 3 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 to 2 tablespoons milk or cream

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first three ingredients. Work with your hands, smear on the bottom of a jelly roll pan. In a sauce pan combine 1 cup water, 1/2 cup margarine and almond and bring to a boil. Then add to the boiling mixture 1 cup of flour. Remove from heat. Using an electric mixer add 1 egg at a time. After each addition mix until smooth and shiny. Pour mixture over the top of crust and spread. Bake at 425º for 25 minutes. Turn the oven off and leave in the oven for another 10 minutes. When cool, mix frosting ingredients and frost.
