2&1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cocoa
1&1/2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1&1/2 c. Wesson oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vinegar
1 bottle red food color (small)
2 eggs

For icing:
1 box 10x sugar
1 8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
1 stick margarine, room temperature
1 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients well. Bake at 350º for 20 to 25 minutes. Makes (3) 9 inch layers.

For icing:
Mix cream cheese and margarine. Add vanilla and sugar. Add pecans and mix until smooth. Spread onto cake.
