1 cup white sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup butter
1 cup cooking oil
2 eggs
4 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon soda

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients, adding the flour last. Roll in small balls and drop on cookie sheets. Flatten with fork that has sugar on it. Bake at 375º for 12-12 minutes.

Colored sugar can be sprinkled on top before baking if desired. This is one of Grampa Ray Moreland's favorite cookies.
