1 can tuna, drained and flaked
1/2 C frozen peas, heated (optional)
3 Tbl. butter or margarine
3 Tbl. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
dash pepper
2 1/2 C milk

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in medium saucepan and add flour while stirring. Blend until mixture is smooth; add salt. Gradually add milk, blending as you go. Let simmer about 10 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in tuna and peas. Spread over hot, buttered toast and enjoy!

I have fond memories of Mom making this one often. Dad says Grobin made it a lot too. This is one of Darren's favorite, quick meals - minus the peas. As well as poached egg on toast or his version, "Toad in the Hole."
