1 pkg. strawberry Jell-O
1 ¼ cup boiling water
1 tbsp sugar
pinch of salt
10 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries, partly thawed
½ to ¾ angel food cake (I use whole cake)
1 carton cool whip (I use 2 regular cartons)

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve Jell-O in water, stir in partly thawed strawberries, sugar and salt. Cool until Jell-O begins to thicken. Fold in Cool whip. Tear up cake into Jell-O and strawberry mixture. Mix all and put into cake pan or casserole dish. Top with Cool Whip. (I put in a glass bowl and layer with cool whip and then top with Cool Whip.)
