James ( Jim) Roy Heinrich 1/14/44 Portland,OR

After serving in the Air Force, Jim worked a variety of jobs in OR, WA, CA, AZ and Spain before finally beginning a teaching career. He taught at Seattle Univ., Univ. Oregon, where he also directed foreign study programs in Spain and Mexico, Lane Community College and Humboldt State Univ. Jim retired from teaching in 2004 and now devotes himself to sun, sea and web page design. He and wife Dulce each have one child, Peter and Fernando, resp. and currently live in Lo de Marcos, Nayarit, Mexico


Jo Ann Marie Heinrich Durfee

8/26/1950 Hillsboro Oregon
Jo Ann and husband Dennis have two children, Katy and Mike. As Dennis' job changed, so did the family residence, so Jo Ann lived in Portland, Eugene, Medford and Eugene again, with time in Zagreb, Yugoslavia thrown in for good measure. After Katy and Mike graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College (MN), Jo Ann returned to school and graduated from the Univ. of Oregon in 2001 with a degree in Medieval Studies and Art History. Since 2002, she has worked part-time as an academic advisor at Lane Community College.

A bit of an explorer and vagabond in her youth, Jeanne is now firmly entrenched in middle-class America with husband Joel and their many four-footed friends.
