1 c scalded milk, 1/2 c water
tsp grd. cardamom, 3/4 C sugar, 2T butter
2 beaten eggs, 2 pkgs quick rising yeast
5 c+ flour, 1 tsp cinnamon, 3/4 c sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare yeast according to directions,using the liquid amounts in recipe. In large mixing bowl ,
add eggs,sugar,butter, mix with yeast & liquids. Stir with wooden spoon 3 C flour first, beat well. Add 2 more C flour to smooth out dough. Grease bowl & dough let Rise till double (yeast varies,mine takes about 40 min. Punch down, let Rest for 20 min. Make into Braids in cinnamon & sugar. Let Rise again on cookie sheet till almost double. Bake@350º for 40 minutes. Brush with beaten egg & return to oven for another 25 minutes.

This delicious bread has flavors of days past for me. If you enjoy Tea's or morning Toasts, this is a fine accompaniment. Poppin' it in the toaster is great ! Yum !
