1lb. Minced steak (lean hamburg)
1 red onion chopped finely
1 tin chopped tomatoes
2 medium carrots chopped finely
1 cup of red wine
dash of Worcester sauce
1 1/2 lbs. Potatoes
Grated parmesan
Salt and pepper

Brown mince in casserole with freshly milled black pepper, then add onion and carrot and continue to brown.
Add chopped tomatoes, red wine (enough to cover mince) and dash of Worcester Sauce.
Bring slowly to bubbling then reduce heat to simmer for 30 minutes adding more liquid if required!
Boil potatoes and mash with some milk and butter.
When mince ready, transfer to buttered dish, fork potatoes over to cover mince.
Sprinkle on grated parmesan and cook in hot oven for 20 minutes until brown.
Serve with green vegetables of your choice.
