¾ cup butter/margarine, softened
2 ½ cups sugar
5 eggs
2-15 oz cans crushed pineapple, slightly drained
¾ c milk (or half and half)
1 tsp vanilla
12 slices day old white bread cubed (leave crust on)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325. Lightly butter 13 x 9 glass baking dish. In large mixing bowl cream butter or margarine and sugar with mixer. Beat in eggs. By hand, stir in pineapple, milk and vanilla. Fold in bread cubes. Bake 1 hr or until knife in center comes clean. Serve warm or at room temperature.
This is a great side dish to serve with holiday ham or turkey. Serves 12-15.
