1 pkg.- 12 oz. shells and cheese dinner mix
1/4 c. chopped onion, sauteed
4 T. butter, divided
2 c. cubed cooked chicken
1 pkg.- 10 oz. frozen peas thawed
3/4 c. mayonnaise (no low fat or fat free)
1/3 c. seasoned bread crumbs

Velveeta cheese optional

I like to add Velveeta cheese to make it a little more cheesy.

Prepare dinner mix according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a small skillet, saute onion in 2 Tbls of butter until tender. Stir the chicken, peas, mayonnaise and onions into dinner mix. Transfer to a greased 1 1/2 qt. baking dish. Melt remaining butter, toss with bread crumbs and sprinkle over the top. Bake covered for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly.
