1 stick of butter
1 C quick oats
1/2 C + 2T sugar
1/4 C flour
1/2 C sliced almonds
1/2 t baking powder
1/4 t salt
1 egg slightly beaten
1/2 t vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
melt butter in saucepan and add oatmeal cook 4-5 min stirring constantly over med/low heat. Cool. Blend 4 dry ingredients togeter and stir in oatmeal mixture, add egg, vanilla and almonds. drop by spoonfulls onto greased cookie sheet.

350 for 10-12 min.
