1/2 loaf unsliced Italian Bread
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese - softened
1/4 lb. sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup margarine
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Remove crust from bread and cut into 1" (bitesize) cubes.
Melt the cheeses and margarine in double boiler. Remove from heat and fold in egg whites.

Dip the cubes of bread and place on cookie sheet. Refrigerate overnight.

When ready to use, bake at 400º for 12-15 minutes. Bake on middle rack in oven - the bottoms will burn if baked on the bottom rack.

Serve immediately with toothpicks for ease of serving.

This is my neighbor's recipe which she served recently at an open house. She did 2 cookie sheets full and they were ALL gone within 15 minutes. They are WONDERFUL!!
