Mix and let stand 3 hours:
4 c rhubarb cut up
3 cups sugar
Then heat the sugar and rhubarb to boiling. Boil for 10 min. Add 1 med can crushed pineapple and cook for 7 min. Now add 1 small pkg strawberry jello stir till well dissolved.

Pour hot preserves in sterile hot jars and seal. Turn upside down for a day.

Carol Braach, our neighbor here on the ranch, gave this to me. I guess she figured we'd need it, since we had so many rhubarb plants when we first moved here. This is delicious jam.
